Celebrate New Year at the Newly Refurbished Mount Somerset
One and Two Day New Year Packages Available
 New Years Eve
Friday 31st December 2010
We have devised a one or two day New Years Eve programme over the New Year period starting with arrival on Friday 31st December at your leisure from 2.00 pm.
Upon arrival we should like to greet and welcome you to the fabulous Mount Somerset Hotel with a warming winter’s Afternoon Tea, which will be served beside one of our traditional open log fires.
The evening celebration commences with a Champagne and Canapé reception in the lounge.
This is followed by a sumptuous six course Gastronomic Dinner, imaginatively created by our award winning Head Chef Stephen Walker and his team.
The evening’s entertainment will continue at 10.00pm with music and dancing, provided by the Anneka Skoogh Band. A glass of champagne will await you to welcome in 2011.
New Year’s Day
Saturday 1st January 2011
Wake up on New Years Day to a hearty brunch with Bucks Fizz served from 9.00am until 11:30am.
Today has been left open for you to spend at your leisure. The wide open spaces of Exmoor are only a short drive away and the South West Coast Path overlooking the fossil-rich beaches at Charmouth and Lyme Regis is only about 50 minutes away. Glastonbury, Wells Cathedral, is also a short drive away. If you prefer you could simply relax in our luxurious comfy lounge by our open log fires overlooking the glorious Somerset countryside.
After your day of leisure then join us in the Somerset Dining room for another gastronomic feast if departing the next morning this will add the perfect finale to your stay with us.

Today you are free to explore the surrounding area some more or again relax in the comfort of The Mount Somerset.
In the evening enjoy dining in our Somerset Restaurant, with locally sourced produce prepared by our highly acclaimed Head Chef, Stephen Walker and his team.
Upon departure, we will hope that you have thoroughly enjoyed your stay with us and that you leave feeling totally refreshed and armed with your resolutions ready for the year ahead.

We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements throughout your stay but politely request that notice be given.
This special break is available from 31 December 2010 to 2 January 2011. Subject to availability.
Terms and Conditions
A deposit of 50% is required on making a reservation; the balance is due by 1st December. If cancelled, every effort will be made to re-let the room. If re-let no charge will be made. All prices based on 2 people sharing.
Non Residents
For guests who would just like to join us for the evening, the price per person will be £95.00 to include entertainment, a six course gourmet dinner and a glass of Champagne at midnight. A deposit of £100.00 for up to 6 people or £200.00 for parties over 6 is required on making a reservation; the balance is due by 1st December.
